At first, let's talk about beaded graph. Beaded cord is the jewellery in shape of cord. It can differ in length and thickness. Beads weaved together create the cord which is empty inside. You can create eleganc bracelets, necklaces or lariats.
Working on the beadwork rope, you should be attentive and carefully follow the graph. Before you start working on your project, find the graph on the Internet. All information that you will need is located in the upper right corner.
Circumference - is the amount of beads you will need for the width of the project, in this case 15 beads
Repeat of colors - indicates after which amount of beads the pattern will be repeated. In this pattern it will be 495 beads.
Rows per repeat - indicates the amount of rows in one repeat
Total number of rows - indicates the amount of rows with the pattern indicated in the chart. In this case 99 rows
Total number of beads - it is total amount of beads, caunted according to the number of rows.
Now, when we know all indicatios, we can take a look at the pattern. There are three variants of designs:
Draft - is the chart of the rope pattern in unfolded state
Corrected - the variant of the pattern in the weaving. Look at it if you decided to weave the cord.
Simulation - here you can see how the rope will look like in the finished condition.
Before you start, remeber that these charts are made with special program, so the end result can differ a bit. On the right side we can also see the list of beads. Here you can see the order of casting beads on the thread for this project.
Read list of bead from up to down. So, at first we have to cast 4 green beads, then 1 yellow bead, then 4 black beads, etc. This way we cast requoised number of beads and follow the design of the pattern.
When we finish with work, cut a thread, fasten off and weave in ends. Congratulations! Your cord is ready to wear.
