Crochet pattern with cloque effect
Share
The cloquet effect has been around for a long time. But now it is very popular.
This pattern is suitable for knitting as a whole product, for example, hats, snoods, cardigans, and can also serve as decoration.
It has sufficient volume and good elasticity. With a cloque pattern, the products are knitted across, the loops are crocheted to the height of the product.
To perform it, you need to be able to knit chain stitches, a half double crochet and a connecting stitch.
Air loops (AP)
Half double crochet (PSSN)
Connecting post (CC)
And we knit all these columns behind the back walls of the upper braid
Rapport is 8 loops and 4 rows. We knit according to the pattern
We collect a braid from air loops 8 times
1st r – 1 PP, starting from the first loop * 4 ZS, 4 NPSZN *. We repeat the report from * to *.
2nd r – 1 PP, starting from the first loop *4 NPSZN, 4 ZS*.
3rd r - 1 PP, starting from the first loop * 4 NPSZN, 4 ZS *
4th r - 1 PP, starting from the first loop * 4 ZS, 4 NPSZN *
We repeat the pattern from the 1st to the 4th row.
Everything is simple, the first 2 rows - above the connecting columns we knit connecting columns, and above the half-columns - half-columns. In the 3rd and 4th lines - in a checkerboard pattern.
Cells can be made in different sizes. This sample has 4 columns. You can do it with 3, 5, 6 columns. Then the report will change. If we did 4x4 - repeat 8 loops, 5x5 - 10 loops, 3x3 - 6 loops.
