For this amigurumi toy, we chose the easiest crochet techniques. To crochet it, you need to know how to make
MR – maginc ring
CH – chain stitch
SC – single crochet
INC – increase
DEC – decrease
SS – slip stitch
HDC – half double crochet
TPS – treble puff stitch
This baby alien is made using:
•Any 2-Fine (Sport) weight cotton blend yarn
I used YarnArt Jeans 175 yd / 1.76 oz, 55% cotton / 45% acrylic
1 skein of each color (#17 jeans, #33 turquoise, #54 dark blue, #20 pink, #1 white, #53 black, #84 mustard)
•Any 3-Light (DK) weight fluffy yarn
I used Alize Softy 126 yd / 1.76 oz, 100% micropolyester
1 skein of color #265 peach
•Stong blue thread for tightening
•Crochet hook 2.25 mm, 3.00 mm
•Filler. I used hollowfiber
•Blunt sewing needle, scissors, pins, stitch markers
